All of us at Jackson Sports Academy are proud to be able to offer young athletes a superior sports experience. Answers to these frequently asked questions may help you plan your visit to our facility.
Can we bring in our own food?
No outside food or drink is allowed in the main building, except water and sports drinks for the players. No ice chests or coolers are allowed either.
JSA has VIP rooms available for rent through our website. The VIP rooms have tables and flat screen TVs. You can bring your own food and ice chest into these rooms to set up picnics, as well as crockpots and other food heating devices. Spectators with VIP room rentals must still pay the admission fee.
Can we tailgate in the parking lot?
McClellan does not allow tailgating on the property.
Where can we set up a pop-up canopy?
There are designated areas outside the building for picnics, as well as canopies and tents. Please no BBQs – electric, propane, or charcoal.
How do I rent a VIP Room and how much do they cost?
JSA has semi-private and private VIP Rooms available for rental on tournament days. Below are descriptions of each room and their prices. To book a room, contact us at email@example.com or visit our rental page.
Where do we park?
There is ample free parking at JSA. Any unmarked space is available for JSA parking. Roped-off spaces are reserved for handicap parking only.
When do the doors open on tournament days?
The players and coaches entrance opens at 6:30AM and the spectator door opens at 7:00AM.
Can I bring in my own chair?
No personal folding chairs are allowed inside the facility.
What is the spectator fee?
$7.00 – General Admission*
FREE – 6 Years & Under
*Spectators with VIP room rentals must still pay the admission fee
How do we get to JSA?
Jackson Sport Academy is located in Sacramento’s McClellan Park. Our address is 5209-A Luce Avenue, McClellan, CA, 95652. Directions:
- From I-80 take the Watt Ave Exit (94A)
- Head North on Watt Ave
- Turn left onto Peacekeeper Way
- Turn right onto Luce Ave
Is there on-site childcare?
We are unable to offer child care or supervision for kids not participating in JSA sports. We ask that parents do not leave non-participating children unattended.
